IU jumps in rankings by U.S. News & World Report

Indiana University was ranked No. 75 among U.S. universities and No. 31 among public research institutions in U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 rankings, released this week. IU jumped eight spots in the overall ranking from last year.

Individual program rankings for IU included:

The No. 2 public affairs graduate program, tops for nonprofit management and environmental policy and management.

The No. 10 undergraduate business program.

The No. 3 online graduate program for business, behind only Washington State and Arizona State universities.

Within the Kelley School of Business, the entrepreneurship discipline finished No. 4 nationally, accounting and finance at No. 8, management at No. 9, and quantitative analysis, production and operations management and management information systems at No. 10.

The No. 22 graduate business program on a campus.

The No. 8 library and information studies program.

The No. 25 law school, the Maurer School of Law.
