IU President McRobbie to deliver annual State of the University address

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie will deliver the annual State of the University Address on Tuesday, Oct. 1, on the IU Bloomington campus. The address will take place at 1:30 p.m. in Presidents Hall, which is inside Franklin Hall.

During the address, McRobbie is expected to summarize the progress made over the past year on several university initiatives and outline future directions in a number of key areas.

All members of the IU community and the general public are invited to view the address in person or via live-stream broadcasting at broadcast.iu.edu. A reception with light refreshments will follow the address.

McRobbie’s address will also be available for viewing the following ways: 

  • Live on IU Bloomington Campus Cable (Channel 32).
  • On tape delay at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, off-air on Digital Multicast Broadcast Channel WTIU-World 30.2, on Comcast/Xfinity Cable Channel 17 or Channel 419 in Bloomington or where available.  
  • On tape delay at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, off-air on Digital Multicast Channel WTIU-HD 30.1, on WTIU Comcast/Xfinity Cable Channel 5 or on Channel 1022 in Bloomington or where available.
  • Via archived broadcast, available soon after the address, at broadcast.iu.edu.
