World-renowned Indian classical music maestro Amjad Ali Khan will visit Indiana University Bloomington as an artist-in-residence at the Jacobs School of Music through a partnership with the Dhar India Studies Program in IUs School of Global and International Studies.

With the games set to begin Aug. 5 in Rio, IU experts in economics, public health, media studies, cybersecurity, public and environmental affairs, and business are available to discuss issues including Zika and other health concerns, how coverage of the games might frame discussion on other topics, and Brazil's ability to pull off a worldwide event and its long-term future.

The Indiana University Maurer School of Law has selected 22 students for its 2016 Stewart Fellows Overseas Externship Program. The fellows are spending the summer working around the globe, from Argentina to Vietnam, as part of a unique program offered through the schools Center on the Global Legal Profession. The final wave of program participants left this week for India, China, and Japan.
