Programs offered at two Indiana University campuses rose by double digits into the top 50 in Bloomberg Businessweek's biennial ranking of the best part-time MBA programs in the nation. A third part-time IU program was also among the 78 MBA offerings ranked.

In their annual forecast presented today, Indiana University Kelley School of Business economists frequently used the word "disappointing" to describe the outlook for 2014 and laid blame at the feet of government and policy makers. A "tepid" economic recovery is expected to continue well into 2014.

The Business Outlook Tour will begin with a presentation at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 6 at the Columbia Club, 121 Monument Circle, in downtown Indianapolis.

The Leading Index for Indiana moved up two-tenths of a point in October to 101.8. While home builders turned pessimistic, the transportation component of the index, together with the Purchasing Managers Index and unfilled orders in the auto sector, all rose.

Indiana University's Kelley School of Business has risen into the top 20 rankings of another national business publication. Forbes today announced that Kelley's Full-Time Master of Business Administration program now ranks 19th overall.
